I am a Level 3 Day Home Educator with a Master of Arts (M.A.), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Education Assistant diploma, Child and Youth Service Worker diploma, and an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) diploma. I have seven years of diverse teaching experience across various grade levels, from early childhood through elementary education. My extensive educational journey, both locally and internationally, has provided me with a robust foundation in early childhood development, child psychology, special education strategies, inclusive teaching practices, curriculum design, and advanced educational methodologies. My international experiences have enriched my practice by allowing me to integrate diverse cultural perspectives and teaching approaches, enabling me to support inclusive, culturally responsive, and differentiated learning environments effectively.

My educational philosophy is deeply inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, emphasizing child-led exploration, creative expression, collaborative inquiry, and respecting children as competent, capable, and active participants in their own learning. I intentionally create nurturing, engaging, and safe environments designed to foster curiosity, collaboration, critical thinking, social-emotional development, and inquiry-driven learning. Through careful observation, thoughtful documentation, and reflective practices, I continually adapt and individualize my teaching to align with each child’s unique interests, strengths, and developmental pathways. By providing meaningful, hands-on, project-based experiences, I aim to facilitate holistic development, lifelong learning, and a deep sense of belonging.
